About the effects & audition recordings

The actual native effect runs on the audio server. Its sound and interface stream to your browser. Some effects use standard host controls because they do not provide their own custom interface.

Effect source & license

Source downloads: Patchwork native host source · SWH plugin source · Debian build patches. SWH plugins by Steve Harris and contributors are released under GPL-2.0-or-later. Full credits.

Audition recordings are released under CC0. They are short, level-adjusted excerpts from Freesound’s high-quality MP3 previews:

Drums: Drum loop by M-Wolfe.
Guitar: Clean Electric Guitar Loop by mooncubedesign.
Vocal: Singing Twinkle Twinkle, Mr. Moon by bectec (opening excerpt).
